Wishlist #2

This post should have just been named Christmas Wishlist.
1. Skinny Band Felt Floppy Hat (£20.00) – I have this new phase where I want to purchase every hat out there. Recently, I’ve seen many people wearing similar hats but in regions where the weather isn't as cold as it is here, in London. However, that doesn’t change my decision to purchase this. It's a chic hat and finishes of so many of my outfits.

2. Baby Lips Dr Rescue (£5.99 - £6.99)  - The Baby Lips lip balms was a recent ‘hype’ but I never purchased one - I’ve seen and heard that the ‘Dr Rescue’ line is actually better. The promise from Maybelline is that they ‘soothe sore lips and combat dryness’ by using eucalyptus and methanol. There are 6 different shades – 3 pink based, 2 orange based and obviously the clear/neutral tone (I preferred the clear one for no apparent reason). They also have two, which contain SPF, I think this is much much better – so the choice is yours.

3. Benefit It’s Potent Eye Cream (£25.50) – I really have nothing to say other than the fact that the dark circles around my eyes are worse than that of a Panda…which as you can imagine is terrible. I have been using the Una Brennan Vitamin C+ Dark Circles Eye Cream, but honestly nothing has happened but I’ll keep at it and see if something happens. I have heard that the Benefit one is actually quite good however I didn’t buy it the first time because it’s really expensive however if worst comes to worst, I will buy it.

4. Yankee Candle (£19.99) – what is Christmas without the cliché candle? Everyone, almost everyone seems to have a candle in some sort of shape/form and I’m candle-less. I’m feeling the gingerbread aroma this season so I thought why not the gingerbread candle…(Starbucks à Gingerbread Latte- it is definitely the bomb). I’ve also never had a Yankee Candle before so I felt like getting one this year.

5. Scratch Map (£9.99) – I love to travel and I have so many places I’d like to go so I’ve always wanted a world map to ‘scratch’ or write on and put pictures on. I first got the idea years ago from the film, The Prince and Me (2004) – I don’t remember the details but I remember her map. Honestly, any old map is fine but this one seemed so cool. I live under the delusion that one day I’ll travel the whole world…

6. Morris & Co. Hand Cream Collection (£9.00) – I’ve never ever heard of this brand, it was the packaging. I was lured into the product because it was so beautiful. I don’t normally buy hand cream but recently at work, as I have to wash my hand over 20 times a day, my hands are getting much much more drier (which makes me cry). Thus I have resorted to hand cream.

7. Flutterby Fairy (£19.99) – I don’t know…I was just fascinated by the fact that she/it flies. I clearly have not grown up regardless of the time flying by. There was even one that had wing which light up…I was so amazed. I think I maybe alone on this one.

8. Popcorn Storage (£6.95) – Apparently, this is being sold in poundland (or maybe it was pound world) for £1?! I was absolutely gutted when I couldn’t find it…so I must search harder. I think it’s a cool alternative to just leaving make up sprawled around the room. I also prefer a bit of colour as opposed to the traditional black (which is what I currently have).

9. Black Sugar Mask by Skin Food (£7.75) - Bought – Skin Food is a Korean based skincare brand and as far as I’m concerned it’s amazing. In terms of skincare I believe that Korea is much more advanced and this particular brand is highly recommended. The mask itself is initially used as an exfoliator and then left to dry for 10 – 15 minutes before rinsing off – 2 in 1.  As I love my skincare routine, I do want to add this step to it.

10. Plain Baseball Cap (£10.00) – Another hat I want. When I was younger I hated these hats – my granddad would tell me to wear one in the summer and I hated it because a) it was pink (I wasn't the girl who liked pink) b) they were so unattractive - now, I’m really liking this. Although, I did want it so that I could slightly hide my face in the morning when I go for a jog due to self conscious issues.

I hope you're able to either by something for yourself or something for someone else whilst you were going through this. If not, I'm sorry, maybe you should check out the November one.

Thank You for reading.

p.s. Sorry this was posted late...my tardiness was due to the fact that my shift at work ended at night after starting super early.
