Body Shop Haul

Serious damage has happened to my bank account and my shopaholic ways have not changed. If I become poor one day and am stranded with no home on the road then…at least I still have my clothes & make-up.

Body Shop had a massive sale where everything was 40% off (even on sale items). So I didn’t waste too much money. If you missed the sale then don't let you're hopes fall, there is another one next month on Boxing Day.

1. Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil (£6.00)
If you saw my November Wish List, you would have already seen this product. I used this the other day when I went out to get dinner and I'm not joking, it does indeed melt the make-up off your face. You need nothing more than one pump because a decent amount comes out and you massage it onto your face then go ahead and wash your face, walla! Everything is gone.

2. Shea Beautifying Oil (£5.40)
Your skin, feels super silky and is glowing with life. It actually dries in seconds so you don’t actually feel like a grease ball and the smell isn’t too overpowering. I tried this as opposed to my lotion, it does keep your skin hydrated for quite a long time, it is also quite light weight. I'm super sad because I dropped it and I broke the lid but at least the bottle can't break. There are so many other uses for the beautifying oil so I’ll link the video in.

I bought this because I really liked the Honey Bronzer Brilliance Powder BUT it was way too shimmery/shiny for my liking, so if it was on my face I’d look like I walked straight out of twilight. However, as I said I really liked it so, I bought the Lip Nectar in the shade Honey Beige/Sand, the other shade was Honey Bunch/Coral but it is more orange than bronze. This product is slightly similar to lip gloss but a thicker and stickier version so it makes it slightly more difficult to apply. The major downfall is that this doesn't last that long.

I didn’t need this but it was on a sale so nothing was really holding me back. I actually love the smell of cocoa butter but unfortunately I can't use it because I get an allergic reaction to it on my skin however saying that this hasn’t done any damage to me so it may have just been the body butter. It does hydrate my lips pretty well, it leaves a matte finish again the application is just as difficult as the Honey Bronze Lip Nectar.

This gives of a fresh, clean smell. I was debating between this mist and the Vanilla Mist because they smelt similar but the Vanilla one was slightly sweeter. You could wear this all year round without worrying about the weather/season however saying that you actually have to reapply this because the smell doesn’t last throughout the day. I also really liked the packaging for this - it was a glass bottle, which gave of the elegant look and I liked the blue hues.

Unfortunately, this wasn't actually for me so I have no idea what the results would be. However, the Tea Tree range has been quite popular but I will probably never use it as it’s not great for dry skin - the purpose is to strip the skin of oil, so obviously this would be better for people with an oily complexion.
