Another Haul...Surprise, Surprise. I can actually open my own little shop
right here which, is ridiculous. I thought this haul would be really convenient as
this month was dedicated to Skincare.
All the products you see above weren’t actually all bought in one go –
it is a collective haul so some of the products have already been used, if
you’d like to know more about the product or what me to do a review on it,
please do shout.
1. Green Tea Fresh Skin (£11.71) – you
would have heard about this product in the toner review where I cried
because I’d finished it. I will definitely need to order a bigger version
in my next bulk order. Green Tea reduces secretion of excess oil on your
skin; if you have irritated skin it helps calm down it down and moisturises
your face.
2. Face Mask Capsules (£1.73) – Trust me,
I don’t know why I had felt the need to buy 6 of these (only 4 are left) but
at the time I was on an impulsive shopping spree. Each one of these
capsules have their own benefits, it’s like your average face mask but it’s
made from natural ingredient. They are perfect for prepping your face
before a night out as it revives your skin in minutes however one capsule
can only last 3/4 uses.
3. Green Tea Seed Serum (£17.90) – This was
the first serum I ever used and pretty sure it was much cheaper when I got it; at the moment I haven’t found anything wrong
with the product. I currently use it during my night regime – the morning
after, I am in love with my face because it’s so smooth, moisturised and
healthy. When I first started using this I felt like I was adding life to
my face it hydrates the skin extremely well.
4. 8 Solutions Kit, Jeju Volcanic
Scoria – This is one of the free items you get with your order. I got the
Pore Clay Mask, Pore Essence, Pore Cleansing Foam and two nose packs. I’ve
already got the big Pore Clay Mask so I’m glad I have back up when I
finish, the Cleansing Foam is also something I’ve used before - it has
orange particles within it and my skin felt ‘clean’ so I was really
considering buying the bigger version. The other two, I have never used
before so I have no idea what to expect, I just appreciate freebies (a reason
to love the brand).
5. Eco Science Eye Mask (£2.76) – I’ve
been sticking to an eye cream by Una Brennan for a while but because it’s
so high in vitamin C it can only be used for 3 weeks. I needed something
to cover up my dark circles or hydrate and make them better. I thought
these would be interesting because I haven’t used them before but I’ve
never really seen eye masks before so I was just drawn into buying random
products…and the ‘Buy 2, Get 2’ offer.
6. Jeju Blackhead Out Kit (£2.07) – it sounds like it’s going to kick away the blackhead on your skin. I
don’t think I even have blackhead but I was curious and thought I’d just
buy it so it can look pretty in my cupboard. I’m intrigued; I want to see
whether it will actually abolish the invisible black head so I’ll have to
give it a try at a later date.
7. It's Real Squeeze Masks (£0.83) – I bought
9. I’m guilty of being a lazy bum, which is why I bought these. The Peel
Off Masks can be left on the skin for 15 minutes before you throw away the
mask and pat the rest of the product in. I bought these for the days that
I’m working and feel way too exhausted to apply a clay mask (they take so
long to apply).
8. Vivid Tint Rouge (£8.27) – I’ve become obsessed
with red lips. This particular lip tint is a deep red with a slight tinge
of purple, I got the shade No.5 because it was the reddest one out the collection. I believe it would be the perfect colour for a night out and
the best bit about it, is that although it can fade the actual colour is
still there so it lasts such a long time.
9. Creamy Tint Lipstick (£9.64) – This certain
red is the shade 'Refreshing Vitamin Red' and shouts spring as soon as you put it on. It claims to be 'A highly pigmented, long-lasting moisture lipstick that delivers rick colour in a stroke'. It has an orange undertone and
is so bright. I’ve been debating whether to apply it lightly or full on –
both look awesome but if you want to pull off a softer look then I would
apply it lightly. It definitely is very creamy and soft compared to your
average high street lipstick but I’m not sure how long it lasts because I
haven’t really had the opportunity to wear it.
10. Scratch Coupon – I thought I’d
included this in the haul even though I didn’t actually buy it. It’s
basically a bit of card which has a discount code on the back for the next
time you shop.
11. Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask (£10.33) –
The clay mask is actually one of the ‘top’ products at Innisfree, which
was what had tempted me to buy it. When I use this particular clay mask, I
make sure my face is moist with toner as this makes the process of
applying the product on so much easier. So if you have a clay mask that is
a bit difficult to apply try adding or using a toner before use.
12. Freebies - During the check out you can pick 5 things from 10 - 15 different testers - which is great because if you don't want to buy the actual product you can get a tester version instead and see if you like it. The tester version is for sale however if you go to the checkout page, on the right they have a list of testers you can get for free with your order and as you can see I seem to have quite a lot to go through.
Innisfree is a wonderful brand and this could be a biased opinion but
the majority of their products are worthwhile. I wouldn’t say they were cheap
but they’re not expensive either, the most money I’ve spent for one product
would be around £15 and the cheapest is less than a £1, so the price range does
vary.
As far as I know all the products sold at the shop are formed from
natural ingredients on Jeju Island, Korea. Chemical products aren’t bad but
when you use them, you need to check the ingredients and see if what’s in it is
actually ok to use on your skin because at the end of your day you don’t want
an adverse side effect. As I am too lazy to check I prefer to use natural products.
I do own ‘chemical’ products but they are the minority in my cupboard.
Thank you for reading J
P.S. I just finished watching Merlin on Netflix – I don’t know what
possessed me to watch it but I did and I don’t regret it. Now I have nothing to
do for the rest of Easter…
