At the moment there are a large variety of serums on
the market - it is becoming more and more popular. Serums are mainly
water-based, light and fast absorbing products with high quantities of active ingredients making them desirable.
Anyone, regardless of age, can use a serum as each one targets a different area – of course, the price can hugely vary.
The great thing about using serums is that you can use as
many as you like and it won’t feel like you've overloaded on your skin. This is because the ingredient within the serum, penetrate through the skin and are absorbed
within minutes. Due to this they also produce more rapid, visible results.
In your skincare routine a serum should be used after
toners, unless you use an essence, in which case it should be after an essence.
I currently use the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum – it is
made from 100% Jeju Green Tea so basically it's 100% natural. The bottle says that it is, ‘Enriched with fresh green tea seeds and squeezed green tea from the
pure Jeju Island to deliver abundant moisture and nourishment deep into your
skin’. The Green Tea part of the product is high in amino acids and minerals which aids the whole hydrating process and the Seed Oil creates a barrier which
helps retain the moisture.
I got this product at the end of January and so I’ve been
using it for over 3 months and it’s almost half way done, which is pretty
impressive as I use it every single day. I have combination skin and during the winter months, I have a drier complexion. This product did a great job when it came to keeping my face moisturised and not a victim to the horrendous whether. If I were too literally describe what this product feels like then I would say, ”it adds life to my skin”. It makes my skin look much more healthier and moisturised.
I did previously mention this product
on my Innisfree Haul and I wrote that I bought it for much cheaper than £17.90,
which is true; my memory did not fail me. I got it for 15,400 won which is
around £9 so I’ll put the link in right here. I’m not entirely sure why it’s
almost double the price on the actual Innisfree website but it’s the same
product so if you can get it for cheaper why not.
If you do want to look into the Innisfree Green Tea Line
then take note that they have 4 different lines.
· The Green Tea Fresh Line for Oily Skin
· The Green Tea Balancing Line for Combination
Skin
· The Green Tea Moisture Line for Dry Skin and
· The Green Tea Seed Line for Moisturising
and Nourishing care
